An irregular room is easier to measure when divided into simple rectangular sections. Measure the length and width of each section, add them as separate rooms or areas in the calculator, and combine the results automatically.

Multiply the room's length by its width. For example, a room measuring 5 metres by 4 metres has an area of 20 m².
