Grey, paint-spattered pine floorboards in a living room. Dust-free sanded back to clean wood and finished with natural oil.

A garden room and a panelled room in the same house. Worn, patchy varnish sanded off both strip-oak floors, then a satin hardwax for easy care.

Oak planks by a brick wall, sanded back
A dark, worn oak plank floor beside an exposed brick wall. A test patch first showed what lay under the old layer; then the whole floor was sanded back to pale, even oak.

Herringbone parquet, special varnish
Herringbone parquet under a patchy layer of old primer and topcoat. Both were sanded off down to bare wood, and the floor was finished with a special varnish.
